The apartment at Hotel Dom Lourenco was really spacious and cozy. The king size bed in the bedroom was super comfortable, and the living room with the double sofa bed and flat-screen TV was perfect for relaxing. The full kitchenette was convenient for preparing meals, and the free WiFi kept me connected.
Personally, I didn't like the fact that the bathroom only had a shower. But hey, it's just my preference, and I'm sure others would still enjoy it.

The hotel had well-equipped rooms, cleanliness, a bright atmosphere, and a small balcony. The restaurant offered fantastic fish and seafood, and a selection of well-aged drinks. It was also conveniently located near the beach and surf schools.
Felt like a home, with no reason to complain.

It was a reasonable price. The room was clean. It had a restaurant and coffee shop on the premises. It was closer to a nice beach (Praia da areia branca) than had been anticipated.

I absolutely loved the hotel's decoration and ambiance. The cozy and elegant design made me feel right at home. The general areas were impeccably maintained, and the beautiful artwork on the walls added a touch of sophistication. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The elevators were spacious and easy to use, and there were no stairs to navigate, making it convenient for me to move around with ease.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the children working there to provide more assistance during late check-ins. Sometimes arriving late at night can be challenging for us seniors, especially if we need help with our luggage or directions to our room.

The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed every meal we had there and couldn't get enough of the tasty dishes. Plus, the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. Our room was always spotless and we appreciated the effort the staff put into keeping everything clean. the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated close to the beach, making it convenient for us to enjoy the sun and sand.
There were a few aspects that we didn't quite enjoy. the noise from the nearby busy street was quite bothersome.

The only thing I liked was the price which was very cheap and included a reasonable breakfast in the adjoining café.
It was not clean, the room faced the street so it was noisy and the exhaustion of cars could be smelt in the room as we could not close the window with no air conditioning or fan in the room. The reviews about the location were misleading.

Staying at Dom Lourenco was a great decision. The friendly staff, clean room, and comfortable bed made our stay enjoyable. Despite being close to a busy street, our room was peaceful and quiet. We loved sitting on the balcony and people-watching. The hotel's location was convenient, with the beach and good restaurants nearby. The value for money was excellent, making it the perfect choice for us.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Areia Branca and had a great experience. The room was well-equipped and clean, with a bright ambiance and a lovely little balcony. The best part, though, was the fantastic fish and seafood served at the in-house restaurant. I enjoyed delicious mussels and fish, and was pleasantly surprised to find a selection of well-aged drinks available. The hotel is conveniently located just a short distance away from the beach and surf schools, making it a perfect choice for beach lovers. The staff, including mine host António, were friendly and ensured that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
Nothing for me 😊.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and a good inhouse restaurant
Unfortunately right on the main road and traffic and people could be noisy but the benefits outweighed the disadvantage

I highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel.
